Shutterbugs: Grab Your Cameras and Go Catch Some Flying Nature if You Can

Welcome Everbody to Our World Nature Class
Comw On In!

Above is a Swallowtail Black Butterfly having a drink of nectar from a mimosa flower blooming now in Teaxs
As You know by now, we are having our Classes here on Rainbow Creek, a small, but significant beginning, for observing wild life.
(not the wild life of humans, rather other living things)
I would like to encourage you all to take and post Photos of Nature. You must enjoy what I display as you keep coming back for anther visit. (thank you!)

This is a lily flower from bulb. I got you a close up of the pollen encrusted anthers and the one pistol.
The flower is bright and (was) beautiful to attract a flying passerby who hopefully will walk around on these flower parts and pollinate. These bulbs bloom in May.
After the seed pods are formed, the plant goes to rest for a long winter's nap and returns again next Spring!

I have a funny thought in my head: What if us girls had to dress in bright colored clothing,  & spray on lots of perfume.
When the husband arrives home and comes through the door:  "Honey, I am Home!";
the wife runs to greet him, throws herself on the floor and screams:  Honey please walk on me, walk on me, walk on me. How about:  Yes, that feels Great, Walk on me some more!)

Enough Nonsense,  Let The Class Begin!!!
Thank you baby hawk

Look at how large they are getting.

These photos occured at sunset, therefore you can see the white downy feathers in th glow.
