How did it get to be June so Soon by: brendasue

Bring On The Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer!
Remember a few months ago we had the winter that would not end??? Distant memory now as we enter June.

Welcome To Everyone.  Come on up to the roof.

Here Comes Kay Lonnie (The Star) to open our Class.

Come Everyone, Just follow Kay Lonnie.

Are you ready to give the signal?

Let The Class Begin!!!

Here is little Ima stealing Kay Lonnie's  Opening Lines!

Today our Photostudy will be on the flowers of the Red Twig Dogwood  (which blooms after the other 2 types of Dogwoods  conclude their bloom).  Enjoy!

This is the end of our Photostudy of the Red Twig Dogwood Flowers and the Green June Bug!

Here at Kates Cabin the next round of blooms is about to begin in the summer yard. The race is on to which color Crape Myrtle Tree will bloom first! We have more of these flowering trees than any other trees on the grounds.

And, the Summer Hummers come home starting next month. Never a Dull Moment Here!

Goodnight Kate and Caroline.
Goodnight Everyone Everywhere.

The Internet is Back On! Hurry, Read this before it goes off Again! by: brendasue

Welcome to Everyone in the World.

We are starting our class on the rooftop deck today.
So come on up and see what is happening today.

Here is Kay Lonnie Wray (The Star) with the little King and Sissy. They are waiting for all of you to get here.

Come on up!

Last Call for the mini Nature Class.

Kay Lonnie is pleased that the other dogs are finally giving her the respect she deserves as the 'Star'.

The little King offers her a Kiss.

Noooooooooooooooooooo  she says.

Sissy steps up to say that she would be happy to have the kiss.

The little King thinks that idea is disgusting, so he leaves.

So Sissy tells Kay Lonnie how much she admires the new Diamond Necklace.

Yes, Diamonds have indeed improved Kay Lonnie's attitude.

Her 'Star" confidence has returned.

And she is singing again with Joy!

It seems Diamonds are a girl's best friend (according to Kay)
(And please do not tell her they are not real).

Let the Class Begin!     Thanks Kay Lonnie.

This is why we are on the roof, to see how Rambo's Twins are doing!
Looking Good.

Hi Everybody!  Welcome to Rainbow Creek.

No one has sent in names for the twins yet.  Anybody have some names for these baby birds?

Our Photostudy today is on this wierd flower named 'Kangaroo Paws'.

The name suggests it is similar to the look of Kangaroo Paws.

However, we have no Kangaroos in Texas, so I have no point of reference on the exact look of Kanagaroo Paws.

We are able to see these unusual flowers.

We can realize and appreciate that all living things are different in looks, yet equally alive.

These fuzzy flowers are in the garden of my neighbor, Kae.

One of the great gifts of gardening is to be able to share your experience with gardening friends.

Kae called me up and said "brendasue you must come see these Kangaroo Paws".

So Here they are for You.

I think it sounds fun to say: Happy Kangaroo to You

Do you feel it?
Do you feel the fun in sharing this flower in Kae's Garden?

That Is What It Feels Like To Be Human-
Caring and Sharing Life's Experiences.

Goodnight Willow

And to All: sleep tight.  I am holding You in my Prayers Tonight.

Camera Class For You!

Hello To Everyone!

Welcome to a World Class of Nature Studies and Photography Ideas.

Come on in Class as we are starting on the front porch of Kates Cabin Today.
I just had coffee with a special guest I will introduce shortly.
First, we are going to let the Little King open the Class.

Let the Stupid, Boring Class Begin!

Thanks little King for a great show of enthusiasm.

Let this Great Class Begin!

Thank you, Special Guest!
Class, let me introduce you to the first hummingbird of the year.
He arrived on Easter Sunday.
We will see more of him in days ahead.

Our photostudy today will be the flower of this little tree with a glowing white top.
This is a rare tree (in this area of Texas), but it is his 3rd year in the ground.

His name is:  Chinese Fringe Tree
There is also an American Fringe Tree that grows in the area, but I do not have one here (yet).

Enjoy these flowers as they will not be blooming long.

This concludes our photostudy on the Chinese Fringe Tree.
Come back again. I have a surprise tomorrow!

Goodnight Kate,
and Goodnight Everyone
