Welcome To Rainbow Creek in N. Waller County, Texas by: brendasue

Hi Everybody:

Come on in and sit a minute.  We are going on a Hike around the creek today to see what we can find!

Here are some cool wildflowers.  Everybody likes water. All life that is.  Here we will see some life that prefers to live close to Rainbow Creek and the little Lake.

There are hundreds of these on the side of the roads. I do not know what they are (yet).

Please leave a comment if you know what they are called.

The yellow colored flowers have really made a big splash of color throughout October.

There is a little cabin, so Humans prefer to live here also!  (I do also have a cabin in the woods, but this one is not mine.)

What a Rainbow of Colors on Rainbow Creek!

Water, water is Everywhere?

The next photos are of a yellow sulphur butterfly!

Well, what is that in the Rose?

It is a Grasshopper!

Pink Knock Out Rose

Each Day you just never know what  you will see.

Goodnight Grasshopper!

A Great Fall Day On Rainbow Creek!
Since you are not here, I brought it to you!   Thanks for stopping in.

Sunset on the Creek.

Sunset in the deep woods-thousands of trees!

Hope you enjoyed our walk around Rainbow Creek!

Remember Kates Camp Cabin is a rental cabin (by the day) so you can come stay here anytime!

Sneak Preview of Butterflies by: brendasue

Hi Everybody!!!
Hope you had a good weekend. I am seeing some great photos posted by people all over the world to Picasa Web Albums.

Everyone is shooting now as it is the thing to do!  Here is a little sneak preview of some of the butterflies flying to Bluebonnet Herb Farms for the Art Show.  Look at this effect (that is new to me):

(I will keep you posted on how they make out!)

Let The Class Begin!

This is one of the cows on Sunset Strip Road that I drive to for the sunsets! The little King told her that Kay Lonnie is a star and now the Cow wants to be a star also! (Oh brother!)

Our short photostudy today will be hanging out with the hummers on the back deck.  Enjoy!

This concludes our photostudy for today. Thank you for stopping in and come back soon.
