January 23, 2010 Discover Life At Kates Cabin On Rainbow Creek, A Bird Sanctuary in Waller County, Texas, USA, Earth

ANOTHER SCANDAL At Kates Cabin: Cruel Son has Violent Telephone Argument with Poor Old Grandma Poppy, the old birdfeeder at the Bird Sanctuary.
All she said was Spring Sneaked into Rainbow Creek!
"NO" He Yelled- It is not true. Spring is not coming yet. Are You Crazy?
Poor Old Grandma Poppy fears this is Abuse of the Elderly. She is heartbroken.

WELCOME to All the People (except the mean people)
Kay Lonnie usually signals the beginning of our Nature Class, but the old lazy hound dog is sleeping and will not get up. Therefore, we will proceed to our Photostudy for today:
Does Anybody See Signs of Spring At Rainbow Creek? (Or is the old Birdwoman really Crazy?)

These are Buds of a Japenese Flowering Quince.

These are blooms of a BushHoneysuckle. These buds usually indicate that sap has come out of the roots up through the branches waking up the bush from its winter nap!

Even bees are flying around pollinating flowers!

Hi Everyone: I brought the Spring to Kates Cabin.....the bumblebee

Bee All That You Can Bee!

Happy Spring! (maybe, but what would I know? I am only the Mother!)

Goodnite Kate &
Goodnight Everyone Everywhere........................brendasue of Rainbow Creek signing off
