A King, A Rocket, A Monarch, A Rose and Elvis all in This Post! by: brendasue

Welcome,

Please come in and we will get started with our mini-Nature Class in the Woods!

A smiling little King

Hi Everybody, Good Photostudy Today!

A Rocket in the Sky last Night

Just to remind you that some things are out of this World!

Morning Glory

This is to remind you that it is Morning!  Get Up and On with Your Day----Do not let it slip away while you sleep all day!
As my Daddy always told me:  You can rest when you are dead!

(Hi Judith, I know you are up early!  See you later on!)

A Rose To start your Day!

And here is Elvis To Open Our Class:

Elvis, one of the hummingbirds at Kates Cabin now!

Let the Class Begin!

Thanks, Elvis.  Today our Photostudy is of the Monarch Butterfly.  These were shot at Bluebonnet Herb Farm in Hempstead, Texas (Waller County)

There you go--we got a King,  a Rocket, a Monarch, a Rose and Elvis! Enjoy the Photostudy. I enjoy photographing Nature to bring to all of you, but especially the ones who can not get outside or the people who have no butterflies (like Antarctica!)

This one flying away brings our Photostudy of the Monarch Butterfly to a close.

If you do not see the link above this sentence, it is because it is blacked out on my fancy google site! Mouse your arrow over the black space and the link appears!  Too cool. (on site only, not email)

This is an interesting site and lets you participate in tracking the migration of these butterflies. Check it out.

You can also call Bluebonnet Herb Farms in Hempstead, Texas at 979-826-4290

Beginning in October, I will be at Bluebonnet every Sunday Afternoon from 12:00 to 4:00 PM

We will have Garden Photo Shoots and Discussions in an informal outdoor Garden landscaped by Linda Wood (owner) and her wonderful crew. It is a lovely space that just needs to have people there on Sunday afternoons!
This weekend, Linda and I are setting up a Holiday Space
where you can have your holiday Photo clicked by me for your Christmas Cards (on your camera or mine and I email digital file)
I want to encourage everyone, especially beginners to come over and catch a few bugs and flowers. (No superglue).

Okay, more later---I am outta here!  Goodnight!
