This is quite a fanfare opening for our class tonight on Stinkbugs and Stinkhorns (and stinky dogs!)

This is a Stinkbug crawling up the water spout. It was a nice Spring Day so I began raking the leaves out of the herb bed. What I found under the leaves were these Stinkbugs emerging from winter sleep and more of our alien-looking Stinkhorn Fungus. These will be our photostudy today.
Here you can see where I raked the leaves out of the herb bed. Down by the parsley were these balls that have the stinkhorn inside. (like an egg).
