WORLD NATURE CLASS-2-23-2010-Discover Life On Rainbow Creek by: brendasue

Winning Contest Photo by: Edith Mills Martha's Bloomers Photography Club, February Contest

Here Come the Peaches! We have ten Peach Trees at Kates Cabin!

Welcome Everyone in the World to a World Class of Nature Studies and Photography Ideas.
Here is the little King. He has been working on some routine all night to open our class today.

Well would you look at that! He is getting Down with some Brake Dancing!

He is really doing a number for us!

You Go, little King, Go! Welcome to our new Friends in Greece! Hello from Texas!

This is quite a fanfare opening for our class tonight on Stinkbugs and Stinkhorns (and stinky dogs!)

Let the Class Begin! Thank You, Little King. What a Special Brake Dance!

This is a Stinkbug crawling up the water spout. It was a nice Spring Day so I began raking the leaves out of the herb bed.
What I found under the leaves were these Stinkbugs emerging from winter sleep and more of our alien-looking Stinkhorn Fungus. These will be our photostudy today.

Here you can see where I raked the leaves out of the herb bed. Down by the parsley were these balls that have the stinkhorn inside. (like an egg).

This concludes our photostudy for today.

This Class really stinks tonight. (I bet Google will have something to say about stinking up the site).

Goodnight King and Goodnight Kate! Goodnight Everyone, Everywhere!
