Two Photostudies for the Price of One! by: brendasue

+

Hi Everybody:
Come on in a have a bite of Nature

Here come some rainclouds moving in!

I got a shower out of this one. Sharon and Helen got some in Grimes County. This is what I was talking about yesterday:  The Pop Up Summer Storms.

Let The Class Begin!

Today we are going to have alook at the Mimosa Tree. (above)

Here are some new buds coming out and some wilted feathery flowers.

The leaves are fern-like. The pink flower puffs, whispy.

Here is a new flower.   Insects love these flowers that bloom in May around this part of Texas.

Here we have a black swallow-tail butterfly joining our Photostudy today.

This concludes our photostudy on the Mimosa Tree.
I hope you know more when you leave here
than when you arrived.

I hope you will open your eyes and Look at the World around You.

Start to Look at things in a different way than 'you always have' just because you can.

You will begin to see you are just a little speck of dust in this big Universe.

Cover the mirrors in your house for a week with newspaper, just to shift your focus.
The 'terrible twos' are over. No longer can it be a me, me, me, mine, mine  world.  We need to learn to know each other as we are going to need each other. You should learn who you can trust and begin to bond as this will prove to be very important, soon enough.

Goodnight Everybody!
