Dog Days of Summer Arrive At Kates Cabin On Rainbow Creek!

The Dog Days of Summer Hit Texas.......

Welcome to our mini nature class and photography studies.  Hot Weather earns these days in July the 'Dog Days' as the tempatures creep up toward the 100 degree mark. Hardy sunflowers are blooming, but others are just too hot.

In honor of the 'Dog Days',  we have a 'Dog' that wants to open our class today.  Little King, where are you?

Hey, Little King, I thought you wanted to open the class today? Where are you going?
(We are over at our 77 Sunset Strip Road in the middle of nowhere to check out the sky and the sunset.)

Like Hello! Remember You wanted to open our Class??

(Oh, I see...The Little King informs me he was so hot ,he had to trot....)

Okay, Mr. Hot-To-Trot, where are you going now?

The Little King Is Pointing Out Something To Us.
(I have no clue what he is doing)

It appears the Little King is not happy with just giving the open signal for our class.  He informs me he wants a more active role in this Nature Series as an Instructor.

He is going to give us a small display of:  What is Hay?

Here The Little King is showing us how tall the hay is by standing in it. He wants you to notice that the hay on the other side of the fence has just been cut.

Let the Class Begin!

Thank you Little King (who is also showing us that He is taller than the Hay....well, his tail is anyway!)

Today we are going to look at this jet in the sky at Sunset.

This one is really moving fast across the sky. He is going toward the Pink Cloud.

Into the Cloud!

Through the Cloud!

Gone!

It is still hot at this time of sunset, today.

Hope you enjoyed our photostudy of:  The Dog Days Of Summer.

Goodnight Everyone, Everywhere!

l

(And special thanks to our guest instructor:  The Little King, who is taking his bow)

(oh brother!)

This concludes our photostudy of a Dog who is Hot to Trot during the 'Dog Days'  Of Summer.

.....this is brendasue signing off from Rainbow Creek.
