TEXAS SPRING COMES TO RAINBOW CREEK AS THE REDBUD TREES BEGIN TO BLOOM IN THE WARM SUN!
WELCOME ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD TO KATES CABIN ON RAINBOW CREEK. EXCITING INTRODUCTION TODAY.
MEET CARDINAL PUNK ROCKER (AKA: PUNKER)
Punker was born here last spring to Big Dad. He asked to open our class today. (He wanted to make his world debut). Ladies and Gentlemen, please Welcome Punker to the World Stage.
Let The Class Begin! Thank you, Punker.
Punker shows us that it is still a bit cold today by puffing up all his feathers.
But he could not miss this moment-a chance to be famous on the Google World Network.
He has always had his punk rocker good looks, although he does tend to overeat sunflower seeds.
This was his baby picture last year. (Note 'the do' even back then)
Thanks Punker, the crowd loves you. A reality bird show could happen and you would be a Star.
So practice your songs as we all know you can be whatever you want to be!
Today's Photostudy will be on the buds of this Eastern Redbud Tree. These are all over this part of Texas.
Look t that, Class, there is buzzbee checking out the new buds.
Most people only notice this tree now when it is producing the spring bloom.
Well there is Superbuzz joining in the pollinating flower fun! (And grabbing a snack)
You will notice that the flowers arrive first on the dead sticks before the leaves.
It is a quick bloom for as the leaves appear, the flowers are starting to fade.
But what spectacular few days to drive in the countryside just to see the redbuds blooming.
I planted many of these here a Kates Cabin in all varieties including a white flower.
This concludes our Photostudy Today. Grab your Camera and go catch some Spring! I am taking the weekend off as Kate is coming! See you back here on Monday. Happy Spring! brendasue
Goodnight Kate and Goodnight Punker! Goodnight Everyone, Everywhere!
