Dashing Through the_________!

DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW,

IN A ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH..........

Jingle Bells, Everybody:

Here is Little Rambo, our resident Red Shouldered Hawk singing Jingle Bells for You!

Here at the Bird Sanctuary Today, we are raking millions of leaves for compost in the

flower beds. Birds of all shapes & sizes are gathering here today in the feeding stations.

Be sure to set food out in your yard. (Even if you do not use a feeder, just locate a spot you can see through the window and start throwing seed out and see who comes to visit!) I have made calendars for birders who want to count who all comes to your yard. I think they went out automatically, but let me know if you did not get one and want one, I will email it and then you

print it out. It is a free template in Google.

Also, let me remind you to keep fresh water out for the birds. This morning I had to crack the ice! If you do not have a birdbath, you can just use a shallow bowl.

You will be rewarded with little feathered friends that will come snack at your place. Throughout the year different birds will come. Just a couple of months ago, over 200 hummingbirds were here. Now they are gone and yesterday the winter Turkey Vultures came home. I love each new season to see what visitors come by.
