Christmas Eve Arrives on the Tails of a Texas Tornado at Kates Cabin on Rainbow Creek, A Bird Sanctuary!

A NIGHT OF HOLY TERROR USHERS IN THE HOLY NIGHT at Kates Cabin On Rainbow Creek, A Bird Sanctuary for Wild Birds in Waller County, Texas.
Forget White Christmas. Last night was the night that the buffalo roamed, no stampeded in the clouds causing quite an uproar. We had all the usual warfare attractions: Thunder, Lightning, Heavy Downpours, Hail, and High Gusting Winds. Though I love a gentle storm and steady rain, that is not what was going on outside the window last night! Of course I worry about all the birds as if I could change the weather! By morning the coldfront had passed and left everything just real cold. So ready or not Everybody, Christmas is upon us!

Welcome To Rainbow Creek

This is what the creek looks like. Kates Cabin is down the channel on the left in the below Photo.
As you can see below, our yard is full of trees, which is why I have so many birds!

Usually, it is a quiet, secluded spot deep in the woods; Great for studying Nature.

But sometimes these powerful Texas Storms roll in testing the strength of my Trees!

The Weather out here was frightful!

Yet we made it til morning and shook out the feathers to dry!

So I hope your stockings are hung on the chimney with glee

As it appears once again that Santa Claus is Coming............

..............To Town!!!!!!!!
Ho Ho Ho
