I created some Photo Advertising for Linda's Bluebonnet Landscaping Company. This photoshoot was at one of her Entry Gates. As you can see she uses native plants (for this part of Texas) and rock design for drainage in rains. This is what I tried to capture in the camera--the simple elegance of this space that was once nothing.
I wanted the hard rocks and sharp edges to look soft and warm, and they do!
I know it took alot of work to build the fencing, plant the larger shrubs and trees, put the drainage plumbing out of sight under the dry rockbed creek, and to move all the heavy rocks, etc.
Yet in the big picture of the natural landscape around this gate, this grouping of plants and rock appear to have always been here as they flow with the surroundings.
Linda can not decide which photo frame she likes the best, so I told her I would bring the choices to You, my class! So if you have an idea which frame appeals to you most if you were looking for a landscaping company, please leave a comment here on blog, or facebook, or email me at katescabin@gmail.com.
Thanks everybody for having a look and be sure and come to the party on Saturday.
I Hope Everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I am thankful for this shot!

I am thankful for this little honeybee as I like honey!

I am thankful that beyond this roof in the big sky is a little satellite that has given me the opportunity to meet all of YOU!
