Finally, The leaves turned red on the Fall Trees! by: brendasue

The End of the Year is Near----I have Red Leaves!!!

Welcome Everyone, Come On in for a Nature Break. Now I realize that red leaves are not a big deal in most places where you experience beautiful Fall Colors. However, that is not the case in Texas!! Most of the trees in my yard that turn red, I have added to the landscape. Every year about the time I give up on them ever turning red, the show begins! This year it was 12/12 they turned after the last cool snap that gave us freezing temperatures  for a few hours. Here is a short tour of the red trees at Kates Cabin on Rainbow Creek.

You can order any of these trees from Linda at Bluebonnet Herb Farms. (979-826-4290) We are in Zone 9 here.

Enjoy the view without the cold!
